What pace do you jog at?

The are three levels of runs Urban 1, 2 and 3 catering for all levels of runner.  Refer to the tour page for more information.  The tours take an easy pace to allow plenty of opportunities to take in the sights.

How many people are on one tour?

The maximum number of people on any tour is 6.

How long are the tours?

Approx 1 - 1.5 hours which includes a coffee break at the end of the tour

Where do the tours start and finish?

The tours start at the entrance to China Town on Grote street and finish on East Terrace.  This will be confirmed in the email at the time of booking.

Is there a place to leave my valuables?

All tour guides carry a small backpack which can fit wallets and keys, they are unable to carry larger items.

Will there be water or toilets available?

There are water fountains and toilets available at selected points along the route.

What happens in rain and extreme weather?

The tour runs regardless of the weather and the tour guide may alter the course slightly to accommodate the weather.  In the case of heavy rain or extreme heat tours will be cancelled and rescheduled if this is the case you will be notified by phone.

What if I need to cancel?

In the case of cancellation please ensure you notify Adelaide Urban Running Tours at least 24 hours prior to the tour.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable jogging clothes suitable to the weather.

Be Sunsmart

Adelaide Urban Running Tours encourages all participants to be sunsmart and wear a hat and sunscreen even in winter and on overcast days.  Please be aware that the Australian sun can be a lot stronger than what you may be use to.
